THE Chase fans were left annoyed after a contestant took the low offer – but continued to advise her fellow teammates to go high.
ITV presenter Bradley Walsh, 61, was joined by four more hopefuls including 28-year-old contestant Novuyo.
The social media editor was hoping to use the money to buy some kitchen essentials after recently getting into vegan cooking.
The contestant managed to answer four questions correctly in the cashbuilder round.
After banking £4,000 she immediately turned down the higher offer from Anne Hegerty and opted to take the lower offer of £1,000.
After making it back to the final chase, fans noticed that the contestant was keen to tell her fellow players to take the higher offer, despite going low.
One viewer wrote: “Going low is one thing, sometimes it works, but it really irritates me when they go low and then tell the others to go high or for the middle offer before adding absolutely nothing to the final chase. #TheChase”
Another posted: “How can she tell him to go for the £6k when she turned down 4k in favour of a grand?! #TheChase”

Yesterday, fans were left horrified after a contestant revealed that she was waiting for her cat to die so she could buy a dog.
ITV presenter Bradley was joined by contestant Ramisa, 25 from London.
The local council officer admitted that she was a big dog lover and wanted to use the money to buy a pooch.
The pet enthusiast explained that she was “waiting for her cat to die” so she could invest her time in a new pet.
The player then told the host that if her cat was still alive when she goes to buy a dog, then she would use the prize money for a deposit on a house with a special room for her feline on the opposite end of the house.
The contestant’s confessions left fans open-mouthed, with one writing: “Nah this girl going on about waiting for her cat to die. #TheChase”
