Alexander Kurdyumov and Konstantin Mazurevsky took part in international observation of elections in Kyrgyzstan
On 26-28 November 2021 members of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation Konstantin Mazurevsky and Alexander Kurdyumov under the bilateral agreement between the CEC of Russia and the CEC of the Kyrgyz Republic took part in observation of preparation and conduct of parliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan as part of mission of observers from CIS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) mission.
On election day, Konstantin Mazurevsky visited the opening of a polling station in the Leninsky District of Bishkek. During observation, members of the CEC of Russia communicated with observers who were present at polling stations, with members and chairpersons of precinct election commissions, and with representatives of international missions of the CIS, SCO and OSCE.
"When we asked observers about remarks and complaints, we were told that everything is normal – observation is carried out and electoral process is carried out," said Alexander Kurdyumov. "We note the high level of organization of the electoral process and the strict compliance with hygiene and epidemiological measures at the polling stations."
The delegation of the CEC of Russia visited more than 20 polling stations in Bishkek and its region to observe the elections.
"Observers from different political parties and candidates were present at all polling stations we visited, the activities of commission members were well organized and one could feel that a lot of work had been done to train them," said Konstantin Mazurevsky.
