The Portuguese superstar was only named on the bench against Udinese by Massimiliano Allegri, amid reports by Fabrizio Romano that he REQUESTED not to start ahead of a potential transfer.
But he was soon called upon, as the game began to get away from his side.
Juve had raced into a two-goal lead at Udinese, through efforts by Paulo Dybala and Juan Cuadrado.
But they were soon pegged back to 2-2, courtesy of goals by ex-Watford duo Roberto Pereyra and Gerard Deulofeu.
Super-sub Ronaldo may want to leave, but he still tried his best to find his side a late winner.
And he was convinced he had done just that.

But the visibly pumped star would quickly be deflated.
CR7 waited in agony for the VAR officials to take a look, before resting his head in his hands as the goal was chalked off.
He then walked off in consternation, with a rye smile on his face.
Asked after the game about his decision to bench Ronaldo, returning Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri said: “Cristiano Ronaldo is fit, yes.
“I was talking with him before the match and the decision was to start on the bench. I told Cristiano to get ready – he was good in the second half.”
