Foot is now at 4 games played. His ELC kicks in at 9 I think. Arguably this year is a throw away partial season. Giving the kids experience. Playoffs or not we don't have the rest of the tools to make it far. The kid has looked good during his cup of coffee last season and has fit right in this season. Only gaff I could see was 2/20 in Arizona on the boards where he got crunched by Pitlick. This is a rookie learning the speed. This can be learned with time at this level. The rest of his game looks good. Smart jumping into the O zone, tenacious defending in his own zone, clean outlet passes. But still learning and I understand you can only learn those things at this level. My eyes see the value of Willie Mitchel with a little O upside.
Questions are do we keep him up and burn the first year ELC? Cap him with 3-4 games left and bring him up late in the season or playoffs if we make it? Or shelf him in AHL and he is a stay in the NHL next year?
Decisions decisions :panic:
