The Voice Season 19: Every Singer Competing In The Live Shows
Get to know all the Team Blake, Team Gwen, Team Legend, and Team Kelly contestants who'll be singing on The Voice season 19 live shows.
The Blind Auditions, the Battles, and the Knockouts have concluded on The Voice season 19, so it's time for these talented contestants to perform in the live shows. It's been a long road for these singers to finally arrive at the live shows portion of the season. As it is the tradition on The Voice, the singers first had to go through the Blind Auditions and be selected by one of the coaches who chose to turn his or her red chair. The contestants then moved on to the Battles, where they had to go head-to-head with a fellow teammate for a chance to stay in the competition. There is then one last step - the Knockouts - before the season can reach the live shows. During the Knockouts, the singers once again go head-to-head with another contestant, but each of them gets to sing a different song this time. On Monday, November 30, The Voice season 19 will officially kick off its live shows.
Blake Shelton is the record-holder of The Voice wins, considering that he has coached singers to win a total of seven seasons of the show. For season 19, Team Blake consists of Ian Flanigan, Jim Ranger, Sid Kingsley, and Worth The Wait. But there's a chance that Blake will also have one more contestant on his team. At the moment, the public is voting for which contestant to save from the 4-way Knockout round that started last week, and Team Blake's Taryn Papa is one of the performers who might get the chance to advance on the show.
She's one of the most famous, talented, and versatile artists in the world, which is what makes Gwen Stefani such a great coach for The Voice. This year, Team Gwen includes Ben Allen, Carter Rubin, Joseph Soul, and Payge Turner. Many of these singers have had big moments on the show and made huge waves on social media, which could indicate that Gwen might finally win a season of The Voice. When it comes to the 4-way Knockout, Gwen is campaigning for her mentee Larriah Jackson to gather the public vote. If so, Gwen will have a fifth member on her team during the live shows.
John Legend joined The Voice fairly recently, but he's done enough seasons and has even won in the past, so this isn't his first rodeo. On season 19, Team Legend features Bailey Rae, Cholé Hogan, John Holiday, and Tamara Jade. John also has a mentee - Julia Cooper - that he hopes can win the 4-way Knockout that the public is voting for right now. If Julia does win that final Knockout round, it'll mean that John Legend will kick off the live shows with an extra singer under his wing.
This might be some shocking news for some casual fans, but as a coach on five seasons of The Voice, Kelly Clarkson has won three of them. The current season 19 is her sixth time on the show, so the jury is still out on whether she'll get a fourth win in 2020. Nonetheless, Team Kelly currently features Cami Clune, DeSz, Madeline Consoer, and Tanner Gomes. Furthermore, Team Kelly also has Ryan Gallagher fighting for a spot in the live shows through the 4-way Knockout.
The Voice season 19 airs Mondays & Tuesdays at 8 pm ET/PT on NBC.
