TRISTAN Thompson became an United States citizen this week and called the achievement a “dream come true” as his relationship with Khloe Kardashian remains strong.
The 29-year-old Canada native came to the United States from Ontario as a teenager during his Sophomore year at a New Jersey prep school with a student visa.

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services shared a picture of the NBA star being sworn in.
“I came to the US on a student visa and have always had big dreams.
“I’m now truly living the American dream,” Tristan said during his ceremony.

Following just a year playing for the prominent school, he dropped out and was drafted into the NBA.
The center began playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2011 where he remained for nine seasons.
However, this week it was announced Tristan scored a $19 million deal with the Boston Celtics.

However, sources told TMZ that Khloe, 36, and their two-year-old daughter, True, will not be leaving their LA lives behind to move to the East Coast.
According to the sources, Khloe does plan on making extended visits to Boston with their two-year-old daughter but that’s the extent of it for now.
The couple plans to make long-distance work – once more as they were also long distance when he played for Cleveland Cavaliers – because they don’t want to uproot True’s life in California and distance her from her cousins.

Khloé and Tristan have had a tumultuous relationship since July of 2016.
They originally split when Tristan was found getting intimate with several other women while Khloé was pregnant with their child.
The reality star then gave her baby daddy another chance, before he was found kissing family friend Jordyn Woods at a Los Angeles party.

After some time apart, the couple decided to quarantine together for their daughter’s sake, leading to a rekindled romance in August of 2020.
Rumors the couple split again surfaced on social media earlier this month.
Khloé also recently unfollowed Tristan on the platform and then posted a similar quote: “You glow different when you’re not hating, hurting, bitter or messy.”
However, she seemingly shut down those break-up rumors as she shared on social media the amazing bouquet he sent her last week.
