A GREAT British Bake Off poster is causing a huge stir with a cartoon version of the show’s infamous nuts-flashing squirrel.
Fans were shocked to see the jokey new image of the well-endowed rodent’s privates in the ad for the show, which kicks off again tomorrow night.
The footage of the indecent squirrel had been featured since the 2011 series two final, but later got cut off ads[/caption] But the cheeky chappy is now back in animated form to promote the latest series on Channel 4[/caption]Shots of the real squirrel showing off its spotted dick in the programme’s parkland setting had been featured since the 2011 series two final, when the show was on the BBC.
The cheeky chappy later got the chop — but is now back in animated form to promote the latest series on Channel 4.
Dwight McLean, 34, who spotted the ad at a bus stop in Hounslow, West London, said: “On the top of the advert is a squirrel exposing himself. Full frontal.
“He has his penis out. He has his legs apart and you can see his testicles as they are so large.”
The care assistant added: “It doesn’t go with the Bake Off theme. It’s something that’s pornographic. His penis is protruding and circumcised.
They need to change it as it isn’t very appropriate.”
The saucy squirrel had featured in the opening credits on the Beeb for four years.
