Does Chantelle die in EastEnders?
Viewers were terrified last night as they watched a brave Chantelle stand up to her evil husband in EastEnders.
Heading out on the town, she told him: “Until you sort yourself out, there is no way we’re having another baby.”
Gray is desperate for a baby after Chantelle’s recent miscarriage and has been pressuring Chantelle to try again.
It’s likely that the insecure lawyer won’t have liked her sticking up for herself in last night’s episode and, as she escaped into the Square, Gray watched her angrily through the window.
His glare spelt bad news for the long-suffering wife and left fans fearing for her life.
One fan tweeted: “Gray is gonna kill Chantelle #Eastenders”
Another added: “Hear it here first – Christmas story line – Phil finds out it’s Keanu’s baby and Grey Kills Chantelle #EastEnders”
However, BBC bosses are yet to confirm what happens next between Gray and Chantelle and fans will have to stay tuned to find out whether the hair stylist meets her end.

What do we know about Gray’s abuse?
EastEnders viewers have watched the forgiving wife bear the brunt of Gray’s controlling and abusive behaviour for months.
Despite numerous promises to change and get better with therapy, the evil solicitor’s anger problems have been getting the better of him as he’s launched a series of physical and mental attacks against his vulnerable wife.
In terrifying scenes in September, Chantelle was hit in the stomach by the brute after her convinced himself he’d been left out at a family party.
However, the hair stylist is now starting to stand up for herself after Gray failed to admit the abuse during a therapy session.
She also recently horrified to discover that Gray had started the violent fight with Jack Branning.
Chantelle confronted Gray about lying about the attack and told him she was fed up being scared of him.
Viewers are definitely seeing Chantelle grow tired of her husband’s continuous false promises to change but will she speak out before it’s too late?

Is Grey’s behaviour going to get worse?
EastEnders boss Kate Oates recently revealed that the storyline is due to take a turn for the worse.
She said “We’ve got great stuff for Chantelle and Gray. That storyline will be continuing EastEnders’ tradition of stories which explore really important issues. We’re going to be pushing that story.”
She added: “We’ve been building it quite gently very deliberately and building the sort of public — by which I mean the Square — the public perception of the kind of man Gray is and the kind of marriage that they have, so we’ll be exploring that.”
