The motivational message read: “I believe that at every level of society – familial, tribal, national and international – the key to a happier and most successful world is the growth of compassion.”
However, Piers Morgan has taken issue with the Duchess’ inspiration message and urged her to show compassion in her own life by repairing her relationship with her family.
Appearing on Good Morning Britain this morning, the host said: “I am all for Meghan learning about compassion. Honestly, I really am.
“And she can start with the father she’s disowned, the family she’s disowned, all the friends she’s dumped over the years.

The host previously accused Meghan Markle of ‘ghosting’ him after she met Prince Harry[/caption]
“That’s compassion, isn’t it? Pick the phone up. Check if we’re all okay.
“‘You okay, Piers? Sorry for dumping you. You okay dad? You okay family?'”
Last December, the outspoken host accused Meghan of “ghosting” him after became involved with Prince Harry.
Writing for the Mail, Piers claimed he struck up a friendship with the former Suits actress in 2015 after she followed him back on Twitter and claimed to be a “big fan”.
But after messaging for months on social media and getting a drink in a London pub in June 2016, Piers claims he never head from the Duchess of Sussex after she went on a date with Prince Harry the following night.
The Duchess’ troubled relationship with her father has been well-documented in the media.

Piers’ co-host Susanna Reid jumped to the couple’s defence and said ‘nobody’s perfect’[/caption]
Earlier this month, Thomas Markle opened up about his grief over not yet meeting baby Archie Harrison and claims he didn’t hear from his daughter after a heart attack left him unable to attend her wedding last year.
Continuing his GMB rant, Piers added: “This is my problem with them. There they are lecturing away about compassion, what about starting it at home?
“There they are lecturing about the carbon footprint, start at home. I don’t mind these daily entreaties on their Instagram page, if they actually live up to it.”
The television host also labelled Meghan a “rank hypocrite” earlier this month after “defiant” Prince Harry defended their private jet use.
Jumping to the couple’s defence, co-host Susanna Reid said: “Nobody’s perfect Piers Morgan, as you know very well yourself.”
In response to Piers’ claims the the royal couple are “lecturing” people, she added: “You do lecture people. You spend every morning lecturing people.”
