The mother-of-three has campaigned for other well-publicised cases, including the release of 62-year-old first-time drug offender Alice Johnson, right, who was serving a life sentence in Alabama[/caption]
Kim’s lawyer, Brittany K Barnet, helped launch the 90 Days of Freedom campaign which is said to have been funded by the usually public-facing Kardashian, TMZ reported.
The mum-of-three has campaigned for other well-publicised cases, including the release of former sex slave Cyntoia Brown who served 12 years in prison for killing a man who paid her for sex when she was just 16 years old.
Other inmates the campaign claims to have helped include Jeffrey Stringer and Terrence Byrd who both each served more than two decades in jail for low-level drug offences.
In June last year, Kim successfully lobbied for the release of 62-year-old first-time drug offender Alice Johnson who was serving a life sentence in Alabama.
Trump agreed to pardon the great-grandmother after Kim met with the President at the White House.
At the time of Johnson’s release, Kim tweeted: “So grateful to Donald Trump, Jared Kushner & to everyone who has showed compassion & contributed countless hours to this important moment for Ms Alice Marie Johnson.
“Her commutation is inspirational & gives hope to so many others who are also deserving of a second chance.
“I hope to continue this important work by working together with organisations who have been fighting this fight for much longer than I have and deserve the recognition.”
The news follows Kim’s latest ambition to become a full-time lawyer, revealing she’s already undertaking an apprenticeship with a San Francisco law firm – which she secretly started last year.

The new venture is said to have been inspired by her late father Robert Kardashian’s defence of O.J. Simpson in 1994.
On a recent episode of her reality TV show, she said: “My dad always taught me that hard work is really important and to really commit to things, so my goal would be in like, 10 years, to give up being Kim K and just focus on this and be an attorney and fight for so many deserving people.”
Kim is registered with the California State Bar to study law to become a fully-fledged lawyer.
