IPL 2019: AB de Villiers Smashes Lasith Malinga For Huge Six Into The Stands During MI vs RCB Match, Twitter Lauds Mr. 360 Return at Wankhede | WATCH VIDEO
De Villiers played a magnificent knock of 75 off 51 balls to propel RCB's score to a competitive 171/7 in 20 overs vs Mumbai at the Wankhede.
IPL 2019, Mumbai Indians vs Royal Challengers Bangalore Match 31: Continuing his red-hot form from the last match, AB de Villiers once again was in the mood as he enthralled the capacity audience present at Wankhede with his breathtaking strokeplay and out-of-the-world shots during match 31 of Indian Premier League (IPL). During the match between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore, de Villiers was in his elements right from the word go as he scored a magnificent 75 to power the visitors to a competitive total of 171/7 in 20 overs.
Given that 192 is the average first innings total at this venue, this may not prove enough with the dew factor coming up. Along with de Villiers, Moeen Ali sounded a warning to the English selectors for the World Cup with a timely 50. During his entertaining knock, the former Protea star smashed six boundaries and four huge maximums. One particular hit against the world’s best death bowler – Lasith Malinga was unarguably the shot of the RCB innings. ABD knelt down, stayed low and scoops the ball over fine leg for a huge six.

Earlier, Mumbai Indians’ skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to field against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Wankhede Stadium on Monday. While the visitors’ squad remained unchanged, Malinga replaced Alzarri Joseph in the Mumbai team. Mumbai is currently placed fourth while Kohli’s team lies at the bottom of the league points table.
