Las Vegas dispensary selling variety of pot-infused beers
LAS VEGAS (AP) — A Las Vegas marijuana dispensary has begun selling a variety of pot-infused beers made without alcohol.
The Las Vegas Sun reports Two Roots Brewing Co. released its line of marijuana beers Thursday at the Las Vegas ReLeaf Dispensary.
The dispensary is offering Two Roots' lager, stout, new west IPA, blonde ale and wheat style beers.
Michael Hayford, CEO of Two Roots' parent company Lighthouse Strategies, says the 10-ounce (283-gram) cans contain relatively low amounts of THC, the psychoactive compound that gives marijuana users a high.
He says the THC count in a Two Roots' beer is 20 to 50 times less than the count of a standard marijuana-infused beverage.
