Check out the 2018 NFL Combine’s fastest 40-yard dash times
Let’s check in on the speediest NFL draft prospects in Indianapolis.
On your mark ...
In physics, speed is a scalar quantity. At the NFL Combine, speed seems to correlate with the scales.
Get set ...
The lighter players — running backs, wide receivers and defensive backs — tend to be the fastest in the 40-yard dash. But few things turn heads like a larger player — Hello, Shaquem Griffin! — who can put up a low time.
Go!
So let’s check out all of the 2018 lowest times at each position — and eventually overall.
We’ll see if any of the prospects jockeying for position in the 2018 NFL Draft can best wide receiver John Ross’ record-setting time of 4.22 seconds from last year.
Check back for updates as the Combine continues through the weekend.
