Soon You’ll Be Able to Stream Netflix, YouTube Videos in Your Tesla
Since you can now play games on your Tesla’s infotainment screen, it only makes sense that the automaker is rolling out Netflix and YouTube streaming. Tesla CEO Elon Musk said on Twitter that the feature is coming to its cars “soon.”

Musk touts an “immersive, cinematic feel” thanks to the surround sound audio system. When pressed for timing details, Musk said the feature will come within a few months.
Maybe August, not more than a few months

You’ll only be able to stream videos while the car is parked. At least for now, that is. When regulators approve Tesla’s Full Self-Driving feature, you’ll be able to watch videos while the car is moving.
Of course, no one knows exactly when regulators will give their stamp of approval. But in April, Musk estimated that regulatory approval of the technology will start to become a reality at least in some jurisdictions toward the end of 2020. He said regulators will likely approve it first for truck platooning, with one driver up front and other semis trailing behind in a convoy.
Software v10 will be available soon, with Musk hoping for a wide release by the end of August. It will include several games, improved Autopilot on the highway, better traffic light and stop sign recognition, and Smart Summon, which can navigate parking lots.

Musk also responded to a comment asking about the Tesla pickup. He said the team is almost ready to unveil the truck, with the reveal possibly happening in two to three months.
We’re close, but the magic is in the final details. Maybe 2 to 3 months.
