Jeffrey Epstein Wined And Dined World Economic Forum CEO (& Now He’s Resigning)
On February 26, 2026, Borge Brende stepped down as President and CEO of the World Economic Forum, weeks after DOJ files confirmed he had attended three dinners with Jeffrey Epstein and exchanged emails and text messages with Epstein through 2018 and 2019.
This was Borge Brende’s full resignation statement: “After careful consideration, I have decided to step down as President and CEO of the World Economic Forum. My time here, spanning 8-1/2 years, has been profoundly rewarding. I am grateful for the incredible collaboration with my colleagues, partners, and constituents, and I believe now is the right moment for the Forum to continue its important work without distractions.”
Epstein had been a convicted sex offender since 2008. Borge Brende’s dinners with Epstein happened a decade after that conviction was public record.
Jeffrey Epstein’s name does not appear once.
