WVU president receiving $25k raise in new contract
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — West Virginia University President Gordon Gee is receiving a $25,000 raise under his new contract.
The Dominion Post reports (http://bit.ly/2aqVY01 ) that Gee's five-year contract puts his annual salary at $800,000. It includes $125,000 in private money from the WVU Foundation.
The contract kicked in Monday and runs through June 30, 2021.
The university released the seven-page document Monday.
Under his original two-year contract, Gee made $775,000 a year, including $125,000 from the foundation.___
