Pelton’s new show evokes life, death and faith
Questions of life, death and faith were in choreographer Stephen Pelton’s mind when he embarked on the creation of “Lauda Adrianna,” which he brings this weekend to Dance Mission.
Pelton, who lives in London, makes a welcome return to the Bay Area after a seven-year absence.
Pelton, who dedicated the piece to a cousin who died of cancer, promises no answers, but instead hopes to offer a space to respond to life’s deepest mysteries.
