Driver killed when car rolls over on Highway 101 on-ramp

Around 11:30 a.m., California Highway Patrol officers responded to reports of the wreck on the Lincoln Avenue on-ramp to northbound Highway 101, said Officer Andrew Barclay, a CHP spokesman.

According to witnesses, a gray Cadillac sedan had been driving along normally when, for unknown reasons, it began to drift to the right up a hill that runs alongside the ramp until it rolled onto its roof, Barclay said.

Witnesses said the driver, an unidentified man, was trapped and unresponsive in the vehicle until emergency crews arrived and pulled him out.
