Caltrain strikes unoccupied cars in Burlingame
Caltrain service has been delayed after a northbound train struck two vehicles on the tracks at Broadway Avenue in Burlingame Friday evening.
Train service resumed at 6:30 p.m. with trains sharing a single track and running at 10 mph.
Caltrain spokesman Will Reisman said 900 passengers and 48 bikes were aboard the train that struck the vehicles.
