CHICAGO (AP) — A newspaper investigation found 15 children died of abuse or neglect from 2012 to 2016 while their families received "intact family services" from organizations hired by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. The intact family services assist about 2,700 children statewide. TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is denying a published report that he said Donald Trump's "presidency is over" if he doesn't recognize the seriousness of the opioid crisis. DIXON, Ky. (AP) — Authorities say child porn charges against a Kentucky middle school teacher sparked an investigation that led to the arrests of another teacher and an assistant police chief. The Gleaner reports 48-year-old social studies teacher Lucia C. Jenkins was arrested Oct. 2 after police said child porn was found on her phone. Police had examined her phone after an unidentified young man who lived with her died of a drug overdose. Officials later charged 36-year-old social studies teacher Jason West with drug trafficking. MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. (AP) — An Arkansas judge says a man charged with punching his pregnant fiancée in the abdomen must stay away from her for now — but can be present when she delivers their child. According to The Baxter Bulletin , Circuit Judge Gordon Webb kept in place a no-contact order, but said 20-year-old Ryan Anderson can be present for the baby's birth. GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip (AP) — A Palestinian cellular provider says it will soon expand coverage from the West Bank to the Gaza Strip. Wataniya Mobile, a subsidiary of Qatar's Ooredoo, says it will launch operations in Gaza on Tuesday. Until now, Gaza has only been served by one operator, Jawwal, which was launched in the Palestinian territories in 1999. Wataniya has been operating in the West Bank since 2009. GALVESTON, Texas (AP) — Police are asking for the public's help to identify a young boy whose body was found on a beach in Southeast Texas. Galveston police say the boy, aged 3 to 5 years, was found Friday evening and that no one has reported a child missing.
