Raiders well aware of ‘overshadowed’ Rams receiver Cooper Kupp
Leon Hall was among those tuned in to the Rams’ historic turnaround from lowest-scoring team in the NFL in 2016 to its highest-scoring last season.
“Their offense in general just kind of took off,” said Hall, the Raiders’ cornerback who played last season in the NFC West with the 49ers. “It was fun to watch. Until now.”
The first regular-season task for the Raiders’ defense Monday night will be trying to slow a Los Angeles offense that averaged 29.9 points per game last season, becoming the first team in the Super Bowl era to go from lowest-scoring (14.0 ppg in 2016) to highest in a year.
