Ratings: Lucy Hale’s ‘Life Sentence’ Premiere Doesn’t Have Much Life
The debut ratings for Lucy Hale’s new CW show “Life Sentence” don’t indicate much longevity at all. “Life Sentence” at 9 p.m. managed a 0.3/1 and 757,000 total viewers.
Elsewhere, ABC is feeling left out this morning, as the broadcast net just missed out on a potential four-way ratings tie with CBS, NBC and Fox. Step your game up, “Goldbergs.” (OK, really it was the fault of “Designated Survivor.”)
While the non-Disney-owned members of the so-called “Big 4” channels averaged the same Nielsen rating and share numbers on Wednesday, it was CBS taking the tiebreaker: total viewers. The Les Moonves-led network came in first by that metric, thanks to a tiny uptick from last week’s “Survivor: Ghost Island” premiere.
