Kratos reports 4Q loss
SAN DIEGO (AP) _ Kratos Defense & Security Solutions Inc. (KTOS) on Wednesday reported a loss of $22.2 million in its fourth quarter.
The San Diego-based company said it had a loss of 21 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 9 cents per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 7 cents per share.
The military contractor posted revenue of $202.2 million in the period, which also beat Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $194.7 million.
For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $42.7 million, or 48 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $751.9 million.
