Sound Off: How has e-signing changed the transaction process?
A: Electronic signing has made the home buying and selling process much easier and quicker for everyone concerned. No more need to print, scan, and email to a client(s) and then have them print, sign, scan and email back to me. I can set up a document or multiple documents to be emailed to numerous signers. All they have to do is open their email and start slicking at each spot that I have tagged to be sign or initial.
It is especially handy if I am working with sellers or buyers that are located in different locations and whether they are at home, the office, or even on vacation.
There are a number of digital software programs that are available for a nominal or no cost.
