Fox News Settles Sexual Harassment Lawsuit From Julie Roginsky
Fox News has settled a sexual harassment lawsuit brought by contributor Julie Roginsky, TheWrap has confirmed. Roginsky says former network chief Roger Ailes kept her from a position on “The Five” after she refused to engage in a sexual relationship with him.
Ailes “unlawfully harassed, discriminated against, and retaliated against Roginsky and sabotaged her career,” the suit reads. Roginsky began appearing as a commentator on Fox News in 2004 and has remained on-air as a contributor throughout her litigation.
Former Fox News co-president Bill Shine was also named in the original complaint. The settlement amount was not disclosed.
