Chariot to resume commuter service in San Francisco Monday afternoon
Chariot, the San Francisco commuter shuttle that regulators forced to suspend operations in the city on Thursday, will resume full service by 3 p.m. on Monday, the company said. “Service will be back on and running as regularly scheduled,” CEO and founder Ali Vahabzadeh wrote in an email to customers. “We’ve resolved the situation and do not expect any future interruptions. ... We passed all inspections on Friday as expected and continue to be in compliance with all regulations.” Chariot failed three successive safety inspections by the California Highway Patrol because some of its drivers did not have the special licenses required to drive its 15-person vans.
