An unidentified round object, possibly a meteorite, fell from the sky and landed in northern India on Friday (June 19th) creating panic and confusion among locals. Residents of the Sanchor area of Jalore city in the state of Rajasthan said it was a grey colour, weighed around 3 kilos and was hot initially. The object created a 2-foot crater when it landed, according to locals. Police arrived and placed the unidentified object in a glass jar to preserve it and have handed it over to the Geological Survey of India for examination.

Cell phone video captured the driver of a minivan speeding down the 91 Freeway with a motorcycle wrapped around the front bumper. The person who took the video said the scene unfolded at about 7 p.m. Friday and the driver ultimately got off the freeway in McKinley where they ditched the van and fled on foot. An elephant was found dead after suffering months of infection from gunshot wounds before drowning by drinking water which flooded its lungs. A pensioner had to be rescued after falling into the toilet and getting stuck there for five hours. Kularb Thongperm, 65, was found stuck in the outdoor loo at the home in Ang Thong, central Thailand, on Saturday (June 14). The man's nephew Winai Thongperm, 34, called the emergency services who had to use a hammer to smash open the smelly concrete water basin and free the pensioner. Animal rescuers trying to save a monitor lizard stuck at the bottom of a well had to race back up the ladder when it tried to bite them. The team were called to retrieve the reptile which had plunged into the dirty water at the bottom of the 11ft deep well in Ang Thong, central Thailand on Tuesday morning (June 16). However, while one of the men was trying to catch 5ft long monitor lizard it attempted to bite him and scurried back up the ladder. Footage shows Ranong Airport in southern Thailand which re-opened this week following three months of coronavirus closure. A speeding pickup-up truck careered through a red light and smashed into six cars parked on the roadside. The vehicle lost control while approaching the junction outside the Det Udom Royal Crown Prince Hospital in Ubon Ratchathani, north eastern Thailand on June 9. Six cars parked on the grass verge were damaged in the accident, which was captured on CCTV from a nearby building. There were no casualties from the crash the driver emerged from the wreckage before agreeing to pay for the damage.
