The holiday season can make Uber more pricey, but one user’s Uber price options are blowing people’s minds on Twitter.
Twitter user @nicoleej0hnson posted a screenshot of the prices Uber offered her for a ride to the John F. Kennedy International Airport. One of those options was a helicopter–and it was the cheapest choice.
“Why the fuck is the Uber helicopter the cheapest option,” she tweeted along with the screenshot.

The helicopter ride to the New York airport cost $101. UberPool, or the ride that you share with strangers to cut down on the cost, was priced at $102. The most expensive ride was a normal Uber at $126.
Most people were shocked that a helicopter ride was casually the cheapest option.
“I’m sorry but why is a helicopter an option at all,” Twitter user @EmBallmaier wrote.

But more than anything, people were wondering why she decided not to take the helicopter.
“I don’t know you and you don’t know me, but you need to do this for me,” Twitter user @thumbhook said.

Most Twitter users didn’t know that Uber offered helicopter rides.
Uber announced its helicopter option in July. It’s only available between Manhattan and the airport, according to the company’s blog. In order to ride, users just have to select the number of seats and when they want to leave. The company billed the copter as a way to save time.
“Uber Copter can change the way you travel, offering door-to-door airport trips designed so you can spend less time stressed and even less time in traffic,” the blog said.
But it seems like most Twitter users don’t care about saving time–they’re just wanting to ride in style.
