Lynn Hirschberg, the W editor at large who hosts this event bases her annual Globes weekend luncheon on the Interview magazine “It Girl” feature profiles of real women that were her obsession when she was nine years old.
“An ‘it girl’ was fascinating and beautiful engaging and interesting and taking the world by storm. I dreamed of being an ‘it girl’ and it never happened sadly, but I got something better. I [now] get to pick all the ‘It Girls’.”
