ABC to Produce Shows for Snapchat, Including ‘Bachelor’ Companion Series
Under the new agreement, ABC will roll out multiple new original scripted and unscripted shows for the social media platform, beginning with Watch Party:
A companion to the ABC reality dating show, “Watch Party” will feature celebrities, comedians, super fans and infamous former contestants get together each week to watch new episodes of “The Bachelor.”
“Earlier this year, we worked closely with Snap on a very successful The Oscars Live Story and we look forward to building on that relationship and providing Snapchat’s mobile-centric users with a unique, immersive experience around our shows and brands,” said John Frelinghuysen, executive vice president, digital media, strategy and business development, Disney ABC Television.
