A plastic surgeon and his scrub nurse have been caught on camera dancing to music during a surgical procedure in Medellin, Colombia. A video shows the pair getting carried away by music from Bruno Mars over a patient who lies unconscious beneath them. The authenticity of the video is not confirmed, but authorities in Medellin city are taking the matter seriously. Medellin’s mayor is demanding prompt action against the pair, while a city councilor calls for them to be penalized. Several former patients have started criminal proceeding against the surgeon. Others have lodged complaints with the Attorney General’s Office.
