Economic crisis: Anger as ‘wailing wailers’ attack Buhari
The Nigerian economic crisis which has seen the naira fall from around 216 to 415 in the last 15 months and inflation go up to 16.5 per cent from a single digit mark in the last year, among other negative economic indices has angered many Nigerians.
The Archbishop of Lagos, Cardinal Anthony Okogie, has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to do something fast to address hunger across the country.
Burdened by the dwindling economy, several Nigerians have attacked the Muhammadu Buhari led administration and the All Progressives Congress (APC) for failing to bring about the change the party promised in the weeks leading up to the general election.
