Mighty have fallen: 5 players forced out on loan to revive their careers
Sending players out on loan has long been part of the player-development strategy in many top flight leagues.
But for these five Premier League players listed below, it is all about reviving their careers which has surprisingly nosedived.
5. Loic Remy
Former England manager, Harry Redknapp had said in February that 29-year-old striker, Loic Remy is wasting his career at Chelsea. This came after the striker failed to make a January move away from the club.
Fast-forward to August, Redknapp may have been right as Remy has failed to convince Antonio Conte of his worth at Chelsea.

He has been left out of the Blues squad for their first three games of the season.
Following his unsuccessful career at Chelsea, Remy is due at the Crystal Palace training ground today, August 30, to finalise his season-long loan move from Chelsea.
The deal is expected to be officially announced later as Palace have an option to make the move for Remy permanent next summer.
The forward, once described by France national team coach, Didier Deschamps as “a young international who is fast and powerful with huge potential”, is now desperately looking to revive his career after two unsuccessful years at Chelsea.
Remy joined Chelsea from Queens Park Rangers in 2014, when Chelsea activated at £10.5million release clause in his contract after the Frenchman failed a medical at Liverpool.
Having had an impressive loan spell with Newcastle the season before by scoring 14 Premier League goals, Remy believed he would be able to force himself into the Chelsea first-team.
But he had limited appearances under both Jose Mourinho and Guus Hiddink, and has not featured at all under Antonio Conte.
4. Calum Chambers
Back in the summer of 2014 the defender was full of promise, but in 2016, Calum Chambers prepares to leave Arsenal on loan to Middlesbrough, in an attempt to revive his career.

Chambers joined Arsenal for £16m from Southampton in 2014 and he initially impressed. On his debut he helped the Gunners beat Manchester City 3-0 in the Community Shield. He went on to make 17 league starts that season but failed to claim starting shirt at the centre, with Wenger preferring the Per Mertesacker or Laurent Koscielny pairing. That was when the problem started for Chambers.
Last season Chambers made just two league starts. He did not begin a match in 2016 until this season (the 4-3 defeat against Liverpool) and has been limited to substitute appearances, most of which were means of running the clock down.
Even though Wenger speaks very high of him, he had to go on loan as 21-year-old looks to revive his career.
3. Samir Nasri
Samir Nasri is set to choose Sevilla over Besiktas to resurrect his dying career at Man City.
Although, the 29-year-old made his first appearance under Pep Guardiola as a substitute in Sunday’s win over West Ham, he knows his starting prospects will be very limited under the new City boss.

Both Besiktas and Europa league holders Sevilla have made an approach for Nasri, but are holding out for a loan move.
Nasri grace to grass story is quite unbelievable. This is because when he arrived at City in 2011, he was arguably the most coveted signing in the Premier League’s internal transfer market, a target for both Manchester clubs. He was the man who said no to Sir Alex Ferguson.
Five years later, his rating has slipped and can boast of just two Premier League trophies after half a decade in Manchester City.

2. Jack Wilshere
Unarguably one of the most hyped youngsters in the Premier League, Jack Wilshere looks certain to leave Arsenal on loan this season to revive his career.

Many believe that he has an incredible raw talent in that left foot of is, if only he could overcome his constant battle with injuries.
But with just 17 Premier League games in the last two seasons, there can be no doubt now that Wilshere needs to leave at least temporarily if he is to get is career back on track.
Some big clubs have shown interest for the 24-year-old, with Juventus and Valencia mentioned as surprise suitors.
1. Joe Hart
As at the time of filing this report, Joe Hart had arrived in Italy as he prepares to join Torino on loan.
This follows his demotion in Pep Guardiola newly shaped Manchester City side, which has seen him make only one appearance this season.

He started the second leg of the Champions League qualifier against Steaua Bucharest last week, but has been on the bench behind Willy Caballero for City’s opening three Premier League matches.
The signing of Claudio Bravo last week means Hart is likely to drop to third in the pecking order if he remains at City.
A move to Torino would give Hart the opportunity to play first-team football, whereas his England place could be endangered by a prolonged spell of inaction at City.
But some have said it’s a step backward for the 29-year-old.
