Finally! Electricity supply to homes skyrockets across Nigeria
– Some Nigerians say electricity supply to their areas in the different parts of the country has improved very well in the past months
– Others says their power has not improved much while others it has remained the same
– Some people believe that it is the raining season and not the work of the government that the power supply has improved
No more need for generators as electricity supply improves
Nigerians have said that the electricity supply to their various homes in different states across the federation have improved massively.
This is according to a poll carried out by the All Progressives Congress (APC) on its official Twitter handle this past week.

Over 2,035 Nigerians participated in the polls and of this number, 58 per cent admitted that the power supply in their areas have improved massively.

Out of those polled, 15 per cent said the supply in their areas have remained the same while 9 per cent said the electricity supply in their area was manageable by choosing ‘Just there’. Only 18 per cent said outright that the power in their area is bad.

But other users say that the story of power supply in their places are not good at all. Some even say it is just the raining season playing on Nigerians and the APC is taking undue advantage of it to claim improvement in the power sector.

Meanwhile, Fashola has explained that the Mambilla power station in Taraba state has the capacity of adding 3000MW of electricity to the national grid when finished.
Fashola revealed this when he spoke a few days ago during a conference of the National Association of Energy Correspondents.
