Nnadozie said the decision of the party to review the primary election result is due to reports claiming that proper accreditation was not carried out during the exercise.
He said: “The review therefore will enable the NWC take an informed decision on whether to conduct a fresh primary or uphold the result from today’s (August 29th 2016) exercise.”
“The NWC notes that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has given political parties up to September 19, to conduct primaries for the Ondo governorship election,” Nnadozie said.
He added that the national chairman of the party Ali Modu-Sheriff has assured all aspirants, members and supporters of the PDP in Ondo and across Nigeria that the national working committee will come out with the best possible position on the matter.
