Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki on Friday, February 26 announced that he will be attending an interactive session of the Social Media Week Lagos.
The Senate President will be at the event tagged #SMWLagos on Friday, 26thFebruary, 2016.
The Chairman of the 8th National Assembly will be speaking on the topic: Promoting online communities to improve participatory governance. The event is one of the major programmes lined up for the closing stages of the 2016 Social Media Week.

The topic is imperative, coming at a time Nigerians have demonstrated strong interest in using Social Media as a tool to engage governance and amplify their voices on the happenings during and after the electioneering process.
