Barcelona and Brazil attacker, Neymar has reportedly agreed a new five year deal with the Catalans to put to bed talk about a future move to rivals Real Madrid.
Neymar falls whilst taking a penalty and misses earlier in the season
Neymar has been linked to Real Madrid as his increasing court appearances relating to his transfer to Spain from Sao Paulo takes its toll.
According to ESPN, the new deal believed to be worth over €20m will put him second only to Lionel Messi’s €26.5m a year contract. It also includes a €250m buy-out clause.

Neymar’s old deal would have expired in 2018 and he earned €8.8 million a year, or about £135,000-a-week.
The deal was reportedly signed back in December, but has not been publicised due to the ongoing controversy about the player’s transfer from Brazil.
Neymar was voted the third best player in the world last year at the Ballon d’Or ceremony last month.
