Infamous 'vape congressman' Duncan Hunter endorses Donald Trump
Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-Calif.), infamous for vaping during a congressional hearing on the use of e-cigarettes on airplanes, gave Donald Trump his second official congressional endorsement of the day Wednesday. Hunter told Politico that he's endorsing Trump not only because they agree on issues including border security, manufacturing, and national security, but also because he doesn't think Trump even cares about his endorsement.
"I don't think Trump wants my endorsement," Hunter said, referencing Trump's remark earlier Wednesday that "endorsements mean very little." "And that's one reason why I like him."
The Republican presidential frontrunner gained his first-ever congressional endorsement earlier Wednesday from Rep. Chris Collins, following his win in the Nevada caucuses Tuesday night.
