5 basic reasons why anal sex is bad for you
While you may feel the need to go crazy and spice things up sexually, anal sex is something you may want to read up on and have a forehand knowledge of its detrimental effect.
Many people love to try anal sex as it is different from the regular sex we all know. Most pornographic sites have contents displaying anal sex and sexual activity related to it. Some people practice anal sex in order to preserve virginity or prevent pregnancy.
Anal sex or anal intercourse unlike normal sex is the thrusting or insertion of an erect penis into someone’s anus for sexual satisfaction. Although anal intercourse is associated with homosexuality in males, not all gay males engage in the act. Some lesbians also do it. The pleasure gotten from anal sex is as a result of the stimulation of the nerve endings; the sensitivity is high as a result of this. For the partner giving, the anus provides tightness around the penis and the recipient gets a sexual stimulation from this nerve filled zone. Anal sex could be painful to many but people engage in it for so many reasons. However, there are restrictions as the anus and rectum is highly vulnerable. The anal and rectal tissues do not provide natural lubrication; thus they have every tendency to wear out. The tearing of these tissues makes it possible for diseases to get transmitted easily. Although so many people have strong opinions about anal sex due to religious or cultural beliefs, many people still see it as a way of practicing safe sex.

Below are some reasons why anal sex is bad for you
1. Risk Of Contracting Bacterial Infections
The anus is full of bacteria and the giving partner could be at risk of getting infected. This is not a function of being infected with sexually transmitted diseases beforehand, the act of penetrating the anus makes it possible for the giving partner to be infected. Although, getting pregnant may not be an issue people who practice anal sex get concerned with, sexually transmitted diseases is a tough one.
2. Fecal Incontinence
The anus was designed to hold in feces. The anal sphincter is a ring-like muscle which surrounds the anus. It tightens during defecation. Penetration could be difficult and painful when the muscle is tight. Engaging in continuous anal sex weakens the anal sphincter thus, making it difficult for feces to be held until one gets to the loo. Although this problem could be corrected and prevented, it is embarrassing and defacing to be known with this kind of issue. The giving partner may have the worse time of his life if the recipient loses control and they both get covered in feces.
3. Pain And Tear
Anal sex requires a lot of lubrication as the anus does not have the same magical wetness the vagina has. Both the giver and receiver need a considerable amount of lubricant to get it going. Not only is it highly inconveniencing having to apply lube every moment, it also subjects the anus to tear when the anus is dry during penetration.
4. Serious Anal And Rectal Injuries
During penile thrusting, the anus and rectum could be severely damaged as a result of dryness. The injury from this anal intercourse could disintegrate to more severe injuries like lacerations and colon perforation. The latter often requires surgical procedure to correct it. It also causes serious bleeding and haemorrhoids.
5. Transfer Of Bowel Germs
If vaginal intercourse takes place immediately after anal intercourse, there’s the likelihood of transferring some bowel germs into the vulva or bladder. The bottom is not the cleanest part of th body, thus, some of the germs could get stuck on the giver’s prostate as well.
