Kanye West Lashes Out at Music Producer for Bad Review in Latest Twitter Tantrum
Kanye West lashed out at a music producer, and maybe took another shot at Taylor Swift, in his latest Twitter temper tantrum.
Bob Ezrin, who has worked with artists including Alice Cooper, Kiss and Pink Floyd, wrote an unfavorable review of West’s latest album, “Life of Pablo,” and predictably, the criticism didn’t sit well with the rapper.
“Has anybody ever heard of Bob Ezrin???” West wrote in his first tweet, and proceed to wonder “what the f–k” the producer knows about rap.
“I’m tired of old people that have no connection with anything trying to comment on music,” he tweeted.
In the review, Ezrin complimented Kanye as a rapper but said that he wasn’t as good as Kendrick Lamar, Macklemore, Tupac or Jay Z.
“But in spite of what the aspirationally-cool media keeps saying about him, unlike other creators in his genre like Jay-Z, Tupac, Biggie or even M.C. Hammer for that matter, it’s unlikely that we’ll be quoting too many of Kanye’s songs 20 years from now,” he wrote, according to USA Today, as the link to Ezrin’s blog wasn’t loading properly at the time of this publishing.
“He didn’t open up new avenues of public discourse like N.W.A., or introduce the world to a new art form like Grandmaster Flash, or even meaningfully and memorably address social issues through his music like Marshall, Macklemore and Kendrick,” the review continued.
West took anything but the high road and also involved Ezrin’s children. A few weeks ago, West tweeted about Wiz Khalifa‘s and Amber Rose’s son, and after the feud that ensued, promised never to involve kids again.

“Your kids are ashamed of their dad… Sorry for speaking about kids…but could you imagine if you were Bob Ezrin’s kids…,” he mused. “I’m so sorry for them…I will send them free Yeezys to make up for the embarrassment that you have caused your family!”
In his rant, he might also make a little dig at Taylor Swift (again), tweeting about someone who has won two albums of the year. Swift won Album of the Year at the 2016 Grammys and became the first woman to win that particular award twice.

“I made ‘Dark Fantasy’ and ‘Watch the Throne’ in one year and wasn’t nominated for either and you know who has 2 albums of the year,” he tweeted.
Although he doesn’t name Swift, fans expressed their frustration about West‘s constant jabs at her.
