Tragic crash in Armenia`s Shirak Province: 6 dead, 5 injured
ArmInfo. A fatal traffic accident occurred in Armenia's Shirak Province, with two children among the fatalities.
According to the MIA Rescue Service press service, they received a report of the accident at 11:51 AM local time. The report indicated that a BMW and an Opel had collided near the village of Aghin in the Shirak Province, with children in the car. The ministry added that rescuers who arrived at the scene confirmed the deaths of six people.
The Ministry of Health of Armenia has stated that 11 people were injured in the accident, with six fatalities. "As a result of the accident, five children were hospitalized; unfortunately, two could not be saved. Three injured children are currently being transferred to a medical facility in Yerevan. The health condition of the remaining injured individuals is assessed as serious and extremely serious. They are in intensive care," the Ministry concluded.
