Greenland has reemerged as a hot topic in D.C. again with recent comments from President Trump fueling the interest. Both the President and military leaders saying that military action wasn’t off the table to capture the resource-rich Arctic territory. President Trump even floated the idea the United States could buy Greenland from Denmark. The latest talk about acquiring Greenland has angered European nations who say only Denmark and Greenland can decide the island’s future.
