When asked about the timing of raising the issue of Catholicos's vow of celibacy, Harutyunyan noted that there was no better time than the present, listing the events of the past years. At the same time, he called it a complete coincidence that the position of the ruling side aligned with the messages coming from Azerbaijan. In this context, Harutyunyan noted that no matter what the Armenian authorities say, someone will always find a way to link it to the statements of the Azerbaijani side. The Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister refused to answer further questions from media representatives, including whether N. Pashinyan's interference in the elections of the Catholicos constitutes a violation of the Constitutional order. He stated that the head of government will soon provide clarifications on all matters of interest within the scope of his authority.
