Parliament committee allows government to redistribute another 77 billion drams, including for assistance to Nagorno-Karabakh refugees

YEREVAN, November 21. /ARKA/. A standing committee of the Armenian parliament in charge of financial and budget issues has approved today a draft law allowing a redistribution of government budget funds.br/pp
According to the current law On State Budget, the maximum amount of budget funds redistribution is 3% of the total, which make 78 billion drams of the 2023, budget./pp
The government has already redistributed 74 billion drams, which make 2.85% of the 2023 state budget./pp
In this regard, the committee suggests that the government is allowed to redistribute another 3% of the state budget or 77.7 billion drams, which will be directed, among other things, to address the basic needs of Nagorno-Karabakh refugees./pp
