Refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh to receive pensions and allowances in Armenia

YEREVAN, November 21. /ARKA/. The Armenian government will start paying pensions and allowances to refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh, Labor and Social Affairs Minister Narek Mkrtchyan said on Tuesday./pp
Refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh will have the right to receive pensions and allowances if they meet a set of requirements set by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia, Mkrtchyan said at an extraordinary session of the National Assembly today./pp
According to him, pensions and allowances will be paid regardless of whether the eligible refugees received them in Nagorno-Karabakh or not. He said refugees need to submit applications to the authorized bodies./pp
In cases when a person did not receive a pension in Nagorno-Karabakh, but now qualifies for it he/she should personally apply to any territorial department of the Unified Social Service in order to receive it in Armenia, the minister said. -0-/pp nbsp;/pp/pp nbsp;/p
