I have to admit that I was late to the game on the watch White Lotusand it wasn’t until the HBO series won the big Emmys that I decided to watch Season 1. I, like many others, quickly fell in love with the series and everything went well. release Season 2″. Season 2 is now here, and while I’ve enjoyed the episodes I’ve seen, I’m more worried about this season. I don’t like the new shots at all, but I find that I miss the old shot quite a bit.
While I like the idea White Lotus In Italy and Dominic and his family, Valentina, Portia and others, I was delighted, I can’t help but wonder what ever happened. The original White Lotus characterssuch as the Pattons and the Mossbachers. As much as I want to stick with the new characters and really dig into this season, I find that I still wish the original players were still around for a number of reasons.
White Lotus Season 1 ended with some cliffhangers that we never saw fleshed out
Part of the reason I’m still hung up on it White Lotus Season 1 is because it ends right at the end with some very surprising moments. Perhaps the biggest revelation was that Rachel finally decided to stay with Shane, even though she was set up to seem abandoned by him for the life she thought she would be living if she stayed. We also saw Quinn make a mad dash from the airport to try to live in Hawaii permanently and become a professional sailor.
Why did Rachel stay? Did Quinn escape the airport? These are the questions I found myself asking while I was getting to a mostly new shoot White Lotus Season 2. Even now that I’m invested in what’s going on with the vacation couple and how Cameron and Daphne are corrupting Harper and Ethan, you still need to know why Rachel decided to stay with Shane!
It’s fair to say that the response to most of season 1’s cliffhangers can be really bland. For example, I can’t imagine Quinn actually running away and starting a new life in Hawaii. Also, how much longer could we stick with the Mossbacher family before it was punctured? Of course, we’ll never know because you’re not around this time, and we’re still waiting for answers.
Tanya McQuoid is part of the problem
White Lotus Season 2 isn’t entirely devoid of carry over from season 1, as it brought back one of the best characters from the inaugural season. Jennifer Coolidge’s Tanya McQuoid is an absolute gem, and if nothing else, I’m glad we got to see her and this new, but rather unfortunate chapter with her husband Greg. Out of all the characters in season 1, she definitely became my favorite, so I can’t express enough how great it is to see her again in this Italian setting.
At the same time, Tanya’s presence and her story are evidence that the show could have delved deeper into some of its characters’ stories, but chose not to do so. Don’t get me wrong, I can understand how ambiguous it is the whole White Lotus cast that it will happen in Italy together, but Tanya’s presence is the only constant reminder of all the stories I have been deprived of since season 1.
To be completely honest, Tanya’s arrival makes it hard for me to think that anything new happened in the first couple of episodes. White Lotus Season 2. To its credit, Season 2 is quick to read and set up new characters, and based on that opening, the ending is going to be just as wild. I’m not quite sure you can reach the brutal death of Season 1, but I’m sure curious as to how many dead bodies end up in the ocean.
Did The White Lotus Season 1 Set A Bad Precedent For Season 2?
Not only does it have White Lotus Season 1 kept me from fully committing to Season 2 from the jump, but it also definitely made it harder for me to form attachments The HBO show has a new cast. I went from accessing any of the new characters, knowing that I might not see them again after a while. I’ve had my heart broken once and damn, I’m a little more careful than I’ve ever been around this time!
Of course, I was inevitably too invested in the lives of many of these people White Lotus The characters of Season 2, much like in Season 1. Now, I think, I hope that at least one of them joins in Season 3, despite the possibility of multiple deadlines, so that no one is left of the season. the end I mean, I hate being sick, but seeing how Season 1 went down, can you blame me?
If there are characters that are left to follow, I suspect that the return of Tanya McQuoid is set to return that just about anyone can return to the franchise, even if it is more of a brand new cast. So I believe that if Mike White and the writing staff see that there is some real love for these characters, we could see more in the coming seasons. Or maybe Season 3 will start from scratch yet again, and attend another horrific incident in the White Lotus chain.
I have to say that one thing holds back White Lotus Season 2 is slowly proving to be as long as the season premiere. Given that the first luxury is not available to him, it is therefore worth considering any new season that has not yet been reviewed. I can always set some canon chapter because we don’t hear anything about the characters’ fates, but there’s no way any reader is going to lose themselves so much to the series simply because of one arm. so many positive things to talk about.
White Lotus Season 2 airs new episodes HBO Sundays at 9:00 pm ET. He who is behind can catch up with HBO Max subscriptionbut make sure you don’t miss out on those nifty intro credits and hidden to hide.
