Minasyan: Armenia has unlimited export potential within Eurasian Economic Union
“The most interesting for Armenia’s services export are construction services, information technologies, tourism and business services (architecture, audit, accounting, management and governance),” she said.
“This is a number of services where we are moving toward liberalization.”
Minasyan said the Eurasian Economic Union cross-border market in these segments amounts to $50 to 60 billion.
“Import of construction services in the union member countries amounts to about $10 billion, IT and telecommunication services $7 billion and business services $30 billion,” she said.
She also said referring to the results of a study of one of Russian companies that about 20% of services will be provided remotely, which will bring solutions to some migration problems.
According to the National Statistical Service of Armenia, the country’s foreign trade turnover shrank 24% in Jan-July 2015, compared with the same period a year before, to $2520.8 million. ---0---
