Russia has a record for deaths from coronavirus
Russia has recorded a record for mortality from coronavirus in the last 24 hours. This was announced on Saturday, November 21, to reporters at the federal operational headquarters to combat a new infection, TASS reports.
The number of deaths per day was 467, a new maximum since the beginning of the pandemic. The previous record of 463 deaths was recorded on Thursday, November 19.
Over the past day, 74 patients died in Moscow from complications caused by COVID-19, 70 in St. Petersburg, 20 in the Rostov region, 18 in the Irkutsk region, 15 in the Moscow region, and 14 in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
In total, since the beginning of the pandemic in Russia, more than 2 million infected have been identified, 35,778 people have died, 1,577,435 patients have recovered.
