Restrictions extended in Moscow region due to coronavirus
The Moscow region authorities have extended the ban on the operation of museums and holding public events with spectators until November 29. The corresponding decree was signed by the Governor of the Moscow Region Andrei Vorobyov, according to the region’s website.
Previously, a ban on sports, leisure, entertainment, entertainment, exhibition, advertising and other events with the full-time presence of citizens was established until November 22. The exception is physical culture, sports events, training of athletes without the presence of spectators.
Museums, museum-reserves and palace and park museums of the Moscow region were closed to the public at the end of October. However, visitors are allowed to take walks through the territory of the museums with respect to social distance.
On October 17, in the Moscow region, a ban was introduced on the work of restaurants and clubs at night. Restrictions apply to establishments that provide services for organizing and conducting entertainment events from 00:00 to 08:00 Moscow time.
The Moscow region is in second place after Moscow in terms of the number of people infected in Russia. According to the latest data, more than 100 thousand cases of infection were recorded there, of which 887 were in the last day. 1,871 people died.
In the country for November 19, a record 24,318 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected. The total number of coronavirus infections in Russia has exceeded 2 million. Today it is 2 039 926 cases. For the entire period, 35,311 deaths and 1,551,414 recoveries were recorded.
