Kit Harington Books First Post-Game of Thrones Role in New Film Brimstone, Replaces Robert Pattinson
Kit Harington is moving on — to the big screen! Game of Thrones fans may still be mourning the death of Jon Snow after the HBO hit's Season 5 finale, but in reality, his portrayer Harington is already onto his next gig. Variety reports that the hunky 28-year-old Brit is set to replace Robert Pattinson in the thriller Brimstone.
Details on Harington's character have not been announced, but the actor will soon head to Romania, Spain, and Germany, where the project is being filmed.
Harington's casting is the latest in a series of switcharoos for the flick, that announced Pattinson's casting in February. He was to play opposite Mia Wasikowska, but she was later replaced by Dakota Fanning. As Brimstone's leading lady, Fanning, 21, appears as Liz, a woman on the run from the diabolical Preacher (Guy Pearce) in an effort to hide her past.
